Our Mexican Couples Vacation Intensives are held in San Miguel
de Allende, one of Mexico’s most beautiful cities.
The program includes -
- Ten-plus hours of intensive couples coaching with Dr. Sanford
- Accommodations on site at the Valle del Maiz Center in San
Miguel de Allende, Mexico
- Follow-through telephone coaching after the intensive and
- A week’s vacation in a fascinating, beautiful city.
Founded in 1542 and designated a protected Heritage City by the
Mexican government, San Miguel is a city of approximately 80,000
people, located about 180 miles northwest of Mexico City, in the
Central Highlands. It is a colorful, interesting, festival-loving
place of great beauty.
Very Mexican and yet, with a sizeable minority population of
people from the United States and Canada, San Miguel is an easy
city to visit, with many fine restaurants, shops and galleries.
And, at 6200 feet above sea level, San Miguel also has a superb
year-round climate of cool nights and bright, warm days.
San Miguel is known for its art schools and language schools.
The city has retained a great deal of its historic charm. It is
a walker’s paradise, with seemingly endless cobblestone
streets to explore. Nearby are hot springs to visit, canyon lands
to explore on horseback, gold courses, ancient ruins and other
fascinating Colonial cities.
San Miguel de Allende is included in the best-selling, 1000
Places to See Before You Die. In 2005 the readers of Conde
Nast Traveler magazine voted San Miguel de Allende their second
favorite city in the Americas to visit.

Our Valle del Maiz Center
Valle del Maiz (Valley of the Corn) is our center for relationship
and personal transformation. It is located in a tree-shaded residential
compound a ten-minute walk from the City’s major park and
a five-minute bus ride from El Jardin, the City center.

Photo Album. Vacation Retreat couples occupy La Cascada, the
main house.
The cost for 10 hours of couples coaching with Dr. David Sanford
plus seven nights accommodation at the Valle del Maiz Center is
$2100. Additional coaching hours may
be arranged.
